About Cheri Mohn

Cheri Mohn (1936-2005)
A graduate of Our Lady of the Elms in Akron, Mohn earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Youngstown State University. She moved in 1955 to the Youngstown area and to North Lima in 1968. She worked as an artist and art instructor in Youngstown and North Lima and operated an art store and antique shop in Columbiana. A realtor for Burgan Realty of Youngstown, she was a past president of the Columbiana Chamber of Commerce.

In 1993, she had a one-woman show at the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, where she had earned a purchase award in 1970. She was was included in exhibitions in and was affiliated with galleries in Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, and New Mexico.
